Dear Forest River, Why is My Rockwood Windjammer Perfect?

I read many RV forums every day and have been very apprehensive about purchasing a new travel trailer due to all of the horror stories I have read. So many people with so many problems.

My question to you is, why is my 2016 Forest River Rockwood Windjammer 3029W perfect? Why don't I have all of the problems that so many people claim the RV industry, including Forest River, are plagued with? Why didn't you give me any of those problems? I feel left out.

I felt the need to come up with something to complain about, so I am here to complain about having no complaints.

Thank you,

Bruce

LOL I hear you.
Ours had issues but I fixed them and haven't had another problem. We love ours and if I have to I'm camping in the yard this weekend. LOL
Even the Weiner dog is excited she loves the 5er and doesn't want to get out of it. Think she likes the double leather recliner most with the fireplace and 42" flat screen going with a movie in and the surround sound on.

I am right there with you! I have not had a single problem. Well I did need to replace a cabinet door handle, but other than that NOTHING! I have tried to find something wrong and cant. I love my EVO and I have not regretted buying it at all! I got it in February and I have about 14 nights in it and close to 2000 miles towing and not a single problem!

It's about time for a positive thread!! All the complaints about brads, staples, china bombs, water filters, kinked hoses, etc.

I haven't experienced any of it with my Windjammer 3008W, loving it. Bought from a local dealer, no problem with getting it serviced.

Complaint on Rockwood Windjammer

WELL I HAVE a COMPLAINT! I don't get to camp in it near often enough! But other than that, we have had almost no issues in 16 months of ownership and over 8,000 miles pulled and over 70 nights camping. Some very minor issue that I have either fixed or tightened myself, and the dealer did replace the kitchen mini-blinds, a shower door seal, and the USB charging port in the living room. Other than that, zip! I agree that I read these real issues from other campers and consider myself very fortunate indeed!

I second that emotion...

We're on our third FR TT as well and have no real complaints on any of them. I would buy another FR in a heartbeat and probably will. Every company has the potential for product problems, but I think FR is better than the rest and when there are problems, I have seen them work very hard to rectify them. Thanks FR.

We have a 2013 2809W Windjammer. We have done a lot of customizing over the last three years, have probable towed it over 20,000 miles, and slept in it @450 nights. (5 months each for the last three summers. Tires sucked but we got new ones. The problems have been few and I have fixed them myself. Very happy with it.

Jumping in with another Sunseeker.

Our 2300 has been pretty much perfect. Love it. We need to replace a drawer latch... but no biggie.

We have a 2013 2809W Windjammer. We have done a lot of customizing, have towed it about 15,000 miles and slept in it for @ 450 nights. (5 months each for last 3 years). Took it to the dealer one time and they said it would be two months. Did a little research and fixed it myself. Fixed other problems myself. Tires sucked but we got new ones. Very pleased. That being said I hope everything continues as well.

Let me jump in here and add my coach to this complaint list.

Sure, I had a small water leak and a screw that hit a wire causing my backup lights to come on when the lights are turned on, but FR ruined my chance to complain by making those issues right.

Now I have to sit at our campfires next my Berkshire and sometimes even inside of it, and stew that I can't get in here to complain about more things

Almost feel guilty that I have had no problems to complain about, especially when others have had so many. Good luck to all.

No problems with our 2013 195BH either. As previously posted, not enough nights in it is of no fault to F.R.
