I talked to the good people at 3M and was surprised to find I was correct. I have installed graphics wet before but something about this product just didn't look the same. The person I spoke with said it is not to be applied using the wet method. If I applied it wet it will fail.

Sometimes the gut feeling is not heartburn.

After reading the repy by gljurczyk I called my dealer and they say they put them on wet.

I'd like to see the decal installed myself.
So please post up pics when done so I can wrap my head around the decal your installing and where its placement on the tv is .

I got the decal on. I used a half/half of water and alcohol. They applied fairly easily and smooth with that mixture. This is what the dealer suggested. Now let's see if I can get a pic of the truck.

I can't seem to get the pic to drop in so here is a link.

I guess the link isn't going to work either.

Let's try this. This is the forward most decal on the trailer.

Thanks Bakkan,

I am anxious to get the trailer back from the dealer so see how it looks hooked up. I seen one over on RV.net that was really sweet. Dodge CC DRW that was done to match what looked like a large Carriage. VERY nicely done but I have a little truck with a little trailer to match a little bank account so I am happy with this.

That looks nice. It looks like my forward decal on my 8289WS. I saw a smart car one time painted the same color as the MH and had the decals on it. I even took pictures at the camp ground. Your trk came out nice I bet it will look sharp together. I remember I paid like 10.00 dollars for 3 small decals from the factory but paid like 28.00 for shipping. I brushed an over hung branch that stuck out in a turn lane in Calf. and ruined 3 that had to be replaced....
