Diamond Package Roof

The salesman at our Camping Word told me the roof on the Diamond Package Windjammer was better than other roofs, a new type of material.
The brochure has it listed as a high gloss finish and Color Keyed Roof. It also has it listed on the back cover under warranty as a 12 yr vinyl roof warranty. I know that most travel trailers have a TPO roof, so is this roof on the Diamond Package really better or is it just a colored TPO roof?

You are wise to second guess the salesmen....I asked about this when we ordered our diamond package and was told it is the same thing...only difference is the color...your warranty would be the same if you chose the platinum package.

We recently bought a 3008w with the Diamond package, I had the same questions you did. I was up on it Sunday installing the vent covers and was impressed by the roof. It is called Superflex and it is made by AlphA systems it is a membrane and only needs cleaned a few times a year. Top job or SpicnSpan are recommended. The paperwork says not to treat with UV protectors because it may damage it. I checked out their website for more info, www. Alphallc.us pretty impressive stuff, better than the roof on our previous trailer.
