I have a mini-lite 1809 and I was thinking about diamond plate on the front of the trailer for a rock guard. Has anybody tried this? Any suggestions on how to attach to the fiberglass? Thanks
to be able to remove the plate later if you need to, i would use a silicone adhesive, wipe down the area with a 90% alcohol, make sure you seal the edges and fill screw holes with the sealant

i am screwing mostly into the frame structure behind it . a lot of measurements to get it all figured out .
i am also screwing and nutting to the fiberglass if needed to make sure its all secure .
I used butyl tape every where the screws were going and screwed it to the aluminum frame with stainless screws. I also used a piece of aluminum flat bar as a backer on top of the diamond plate to spread the screw pressure out.

I have a 5er so I just opened the front access cubby door and started measuring from door to structure from the inside and transferring that dimension on the outside
I used an electronic stud finder and confirmed with measurements. I can see where my frame is on a cool morning. Where the frame members are condenses a little differently than where the insulation is.
