Dimensions, dumb question
I'm building a pole barn and want to get my trailer inside. I have a 2015 8329ss and the height is 9'10" but I have two a/c units on top. Trailer is in the shop right now so I don't have access to measure it. What is the overall height WITH the a/c units?

My suggestion would be to make the doorway a minimum of 13'6" or better yet 14'. Who knows what you may purchase in the future. Yes there would be a increased cost but it would be minimal.

According to Rockwood website the 8329SS is 10 feet 11 inches.

I would add at least 1 foot to the height. Just a thought but maybe make it tall enough in case you ever decide to get another RV. Jerry.

My wildcat on the web site was listed at 11' 10" with the air cond. unit came to 12' 4" it depends what air cond. unit but mine are 14" tall and are mounted at the highest point on the roof you need to measure there and add about 6".

Dimensions, dumb question
I put my 1905 in garage. When I bought mine. The height did not include anything on roof. A Mach 3 is14-16 inches tall. Gasket adds height also. I had to let air out of tires a little to get in and out. I swapped the Mach 3 with a Mach 8. Problem solved.
You can not trust the published measurements either

I agree going with a 14' high door. I went with a 12' high door in the shop when I built it because I had a 10'6" high TT. We now have a 12'3" high 5er so now it won't fit in the shop.
Now, I didn't build the shop to house the RV, but it was sure nice to be able to when I needed to work under it.

I have to agree with the others here. 14' door.. And, for the same reason others have said, you don't know what your next RV will be. The newer Class A's are running around 13' to 13.5' tall. And the large 5th wheels approach that height.
Best to design and build to the largest sizes and then you will have some room to work around your RV.

All I can say is don't make the mistake I did. I had a metal shed built to house my bumper pull TT. I had enough sense to install wiring for a potential change to a 50amp trailer BUT I failed to consider how much taller a 5th wheel would be. The 5th wheel wouldn't fit so I had two choices: 1). change nothing and let the trailer sit outside and the shed sit empty or 2.) have the shed "tallerized" at a cost of about 2/3s the original shed cost. I picked #2 and spent the money but I shudda, wouldda, couldda built it tall enough in the 1st place!

Actually if you never plan to have a 5th wheel 12' garage doors will be fine. I wanted regular garage doors to match my home and include garage door openers. A 12' garage door will only give you 11'9" or so clearance though. As others have stated you can always go bigger but it's a matter of preference. I just upgraded my trailer and my only limit was length. Went with a 30' length but might have gone with something longer if it would fit without taking out my bench at end. Mine was built 28X38 and I might have went a few foot longer but didn't want to block our view. Think about width also, you might want to open the slides in the garage.
