Disappointment

I just want everyone to know that i am disappointed in all of you......

I come to this forum everyday to see what is going on in the world of camping. And what have I found in the last 24 hours? Nothing.

We are winterized right now and I need to hear about other folks having a good time so I can remember how it is.

OK, as you were. Carry on.

See you down the road this spring.

Ken

18 below zero, wife won't leave the house, diesel fuel is probably the consistency of jello, garage doors frozen shut, can't get the truck or camper out, can't go camping even if I had to. This is why I call myself "frozen".

If we're worse off than you, I would've thought you'd be happier about your situation! LOL

Us Canucks don't have an alternative this time of year. It's either snow, more snow or rain and socked in on the coasts.

Not being retired, means landlocked or jet off to somewhere sunny and hot.

Ya'll are starting to depress me & I live in Fla, & can go any time. High of 51 today & low of 26, but can still go. Won't stay that cold for very long, warmer temps. as the week goes on. Really feel for ya'll though. Must admit the snow is pretty, but so is the beach here. Good luck all & stay warm.

No camping here. We work, which limits us to weekend camping, but camp sites are hard to come by during our cool season with all the snow birds taking up the spots.

There's a national park about 4 hours from us. Really nice place.
Summer campground reservations opened at 8 am this morning.
By 8:30, it was booked solid...
A few smaller sites, here and there are still open, but all the big sites are gone.

Thumbs up

raining right now here in California, in a couple of days, were getting ready to head to seacliff beach for four days, it was the luck of the draw, usually they are booked solid, got lucky and reserved a spot with full hook ups, usually it is impossible to get one with hook ups,,,,,

Know what you mean CampingGator. We are retired & if we make reservations that don't include Fridays & weekends, we can almost always find a site we like at a state park somewhere, especially here in the northern part of the state. One of the benefits of getting older, along with half price camp sites at state & national campgrounds.

I'm sitting in a hospital waiting for DW to finish her nuclear / chemical stress test... trying to determine the source of her heart issues. No camping for us this month.
