Sorry- don't get too excited. I never found it, and just pretty much forgot about my post til this latest one. I'll try to do better next time. And thanks Witch Doctor- I know it took a lot of effort...

I have a 2013 version of the same trailer as the OP. My "sub" was mounted behind a cabinet door that doesn't open under the TV (no optional fireplace). The door has a black speaker cloth type front to it.

The original Genesis radio and the factory sub were worthless in my opinion. I replaced the radio with a cheap 5.1 home receiver and the sub with a Bose Home Theater Bass Module (kept the stock ceiling speakers)....sounds MUCH better now.

Thanks for the info. I've pretty much decided I don't have a subwoofer. I like your idea about replacing the receiver with a real one. I think I'd also like to replace all the ceiling speakers with some JBLs or something like that. But that's waaaay down the wish list.

Did you pull the Fireplace? I have a 2012 8289WS and that is where mine is, not that it's worth anything but that's where it is....

No, I haven't done that yet. But it will be the next thing I try. Thanks.

My trailer a year newer sub works pretty good. Set EQ to Rock and crank up the Black Eyed Peas or Drake and Rock On!

As I said Bob I relocated ours also,,, to a shelf in the basement of our home !!! Only way I found I could control it !!! Once I found it in a storage compartment in the dinning room slid,,, and unscrewed it from the wall,,, I then found the controls,,, Too late,,, I needed the space more than I needed the thumping !!! Guess we are just to old for that Crap ???
It is bad enough we have to listen to loud music @ our Grandsons Basket Ball games,,, and between innings @ there Baseball games !!!

Then you must have a different radio then mine, I have the Genesis 3, I think that is what it is called. I even cut out holes and covered them up with speaker faces, still can not hear it at all. Which unit do you have? I can't even find a EQ in the set-up program. Or how do I find it? I have to put a CD in to access my sound controls. At least it is still working, I guess I'm lucky there, Don't listen to it to much.

I have the same. The remote needs to be used, press sound, then cycle though using volume. then press enter to get the setting you want.

Thanks I'll try that, I can get to the page that says subwoofer I think, I just gave up to be honest. I think it gos from o to plus or minus 4, I would assume that plus means louder, on the speaker page I think I get small, med and large per speaker, what does that mean, I also have it set at 5.1

I couldn't find one in my 2016 2306. No sub control on the iRV head unit. Full bass did nothing. Time to remove that iRV crap and speakers and replace it with something a whole lot better!!
