We have full drive way down side of house 12 feet wide, getting ready to kick it out 6 feet to 18 wide and then 18x41 Carport ... it has PVC fencingthe extra will allow slide all way out .... No HOA could not handle one of those.

Lucky enough to have room for this. So nice to be able to store at home. Any kind of work I want to do on it is just outside. My brother has a 45 minute drive to where his is stored. Major PITA when he has to get everything loaded up for a trip. Even if driveway is an option, it exposes the unit to the sun/weather.

We are getting ready to pack up this weekend and leaving Wednesday for a 5 day trip to a KOA in Meadville Pa, about 2 hours away. I put it up front in the driveway so my wife can set up her stuff and I can work on my upgrades I was collecting while it was in for warranty work.

My mother and father were hanging out in the driveway with my wife and I, that's why your seeing so many feet [emoji23]

I have a lower driveway with a very large semicircle lot that I will move so if my trailers to before the rainy fall weather hits. Click image for larger version

We live in a "regular" neighborhood and our TT is in the driveway. I like it here. Easy to get ready for a trip and for maintenance. Also I keep the FW tank full so if ever a local water problem during the season we still have water. Also in the winter if the power went out and was going to be awile before coming back on I could always fire up the furnace in the TT and be warm.

We keep our 15' footer outdoors in a storage lot west of Toronto and pay $60 per month. Gravel, fenced, card access and cameras. Once you start looking closer to Toronto, the rates soon double.

We live out of town on 1 1/4 acres and have a 3 bay metal shed that houses the 5th wheel RV in center bay, utility trailer in one side bay and fishing boat in other bay. I have it wired for 50 amp. service, but RV is only 30 amp. I use a splitter to drop service to 30 amp.

Should have mentioned that lot rental for the Cherokee is around $100/month.

We live in a subdivision and the deed restrictions (enforced by HOA ) say no storage visible from the street so we pay for enclosed storage about 1/2 hour away.

Had friends move to a small town where he could store his rig in the driveway, but his friends pointed out that when he was traveling everyone would know because the rig was gone. So he pays for storage.

This building also stores my truck and other items. I’ll try to post a pic but I’m in a state park and the cell service is weak.
That's the way to go! I can't wait to see the pics!

This is my 2015 320RS parked between my house and my neighbors house. I owned both houses when I poured the drive. I did this after the city passed an ordinance that parked RV's couldn't extend past the front of the house. I obtained an easement before I sold the house and people looking at the house knew of the easement and the RV parking there. There is about 14' between the eaves so I have just under 3' on each side when I back in.

Another country vote. We have 6 acres. DH built a RV docking spot beside his 4 car garage. It’s plugged in and stocked all summer long. If we had to haul it home from storage and load it up for every trip I doubt we’d bother.

I live on a small farm so store my TT at home. We had 30 amp electric installed outside on one side of a pole barn for my TT and 50 amp on the other side of the same pole barn for my sister's 5er when she and her husband are passing through. We can easily have water at either coach but no sewer dump.
I'd love to store my TT inside a barn but the roof trusses are too low and the outbuildings are all in use. I'm very grateful to store at home. I have easy access to my TT 24/7 and peace of mind it isn't being damaged or stolen from a storage facility.

Here is where mine resides with the truck parked next to it. It is big enough to open the slides and it is plugged in with a camera keeping a eye on it.

Back home connected to WiFi so here’s the pic. So convenient to have my trailer at home to do maintenance and upkeep. In fact, after unloading I just parked it in front of my shop and left it there. Busy tomorrow so on Sunday I’ll wash it and put it away for a week and then it’s off to Sullivan Lake in NE Washington St.

Do non-full timers pay for RV storage?

I use to park in my backyard it was a tight fit down the side alley. I am 62” total length. Then negotiated an off set 4 way( cable box ) sits directly in center of north south alley. Had to come close as I could ( about 6”) to cable box so back of trailer driver side can clear neighbors fence in order to get trailer across the back alley. Then back into a 9” wide gate while avoiding cable box and overgrown tree passenger side and pile of cinder blocks construction debris driver side. Usually got it with only one pull up. Discovered recently that the alley wasn’t an offset 4 way. All the land north of alley was abandoned lot recently bought and now fenced off. Now no way trailer fits so I pay to store[emoji1304]Click image for larger version
