told me they wouldn't budge on the price. dared me to go get it, if i wanted that price so bad.
the lowest price i got, from any of them, was $19,500.
i bought mine new, from House of Camping, for $14,500.
Did you pick it up or have it delivered? How was that experience? Thanks for the help.

You won't find dealer cost for an RV anywhere, because the mark-up is 100-200% over dealer cost, that is why you can buy them for 10 to 15k off msrp.
I was told this by an individual who worked in the industry for several years. There's big money in RV sale!

i went and picked it up. we just made a vacation out of the trip back.
still saved over $3500 after trip costs.

other than hitting a snow/ice storm in Wyoming, it was an easy trip, even in November.

I noticed that Best RV in turlock has the New 2012 Forest River Rockwood Ultra Lite 2702SS Two Entry Doors for $24,999.00 I don't know about if they charge the shipping extra but they do say to check the price by calling them first as the ad might be different they seem to have the lowest prices in the area thou.

yep, i tried Best RV since they seemed to have the best prices out here.
but they still laughed at me about the Midwest prices and dared me to go there if i wanted those kind of prices.
their lowest price was still $4500 more than House of Camping in Chicago.

On my purchase sheet it showed the shipping cost, ferry costs each as individual line items.
I could not have gone and purchased and had any savings other than what the factory may have offered.

Thanks for your help! One more question. Did you put your WDH on yourself or did you have them do it? I'm pretty sure we are going to pick it up and still save $4K over the local dealers.

the dealer i bought my Roo from, installed my Equalizer, for free, even though i bought it from RVW. and they didn't even carry the Equalizer.
but, if they hadn't, i would have done it myself.
