DOES ANYONE HAVE THE ULTRALITE 2604ss?
Hello,
Well we can't seem to make up our mind between the Ultralite 26077SS and the 2604SS. I was wondering if anyone has the 2604SS and how do you like it. Im a little concerned about the lack of pantry and that you have to go through the bathroom to get to the bedroom but I like that it has swivel chairs in the living area and a large slide. Also, any problems with the air bed?
Thanks

We have the 2604 and really enjoy it. As for the pantrystorage, I installed 2 slide out drawerswhich really increases usefullness. Also, I installed a shelf in the hanging pantry next to the sliding door. As for the air bed, I am not sure that I know what you are talking about. Mine has a mattress. I installed one of the 2" foam pads on the mattress and it really helped with sleeping, This would be a problem with any mattress.
Another thing I did was to install a rail (like the one on the outside for the shelf and BBQ) to use the shelf for additional kitchen space. The rail was installed immediately above the outlet on the left of the stove.
Trailer pulls like a dream.
Any additional questions, PM me.

Im wondering if they changed the 2604ss for 2010. The trailer we are looking at has 2 swivel chairs in the rear. There is a pull out sofa bed that has an inflatable air mattress. I don't think there is a pantry and Im not sure what you mean by sliding door.

I think I figured out that you might have the 2604 single slide. It looks like that has a pantry. The one we are looking at is the super slide where the couch and dinette slide out. The rest of the set up is pretty much the same. Still has the bathroom in the middle and 2 swivel chairs.

I realized that there is now a 2604SS. I have the 2604s which has a completely different layout. Has a small slide out.
Sorry for the confusion.

That's what I was wondering. Thanks anyway. I guess they don't make that model any longer.
Have a good day

I'm also looking at the 2604SS. Dealer said no air bed option, just a jack knife sofa. Did you get quoted on an air bed?

We actually just ordered a 2604SS last night from RVdirect.
It comes standard with the airbed sofa that has storage under it. I asked to make sure. I am really excited to get it. I think we will really like that floorplan.

My Flagstaff V lite has the same features as you are discussing, and we absolutely love the air bed! Very comfortable, built-in 120v pump that also reverses for quick take-down. Also, If you happen to camp where there's no power as we do some, you have a traditional air bed fill cap at the foot of the bed, just buy a 12v pump from Wally World, and you are good to go! Also, as mentioned, under the bed has a huge storage drawer that nobody knows about.... good for purses and we store all of the bedding for this bed in there, including the 2 pillows! The sliding door mentioned is to separate the living room and the pass-thru bathroom for your privacy. By the way, they don't lock! Ours then has a curtain on the other end of the bathroom separating the bedroom from it. We have another bedroom slideout, and a V- front with a huge walk in closet in the V. also there's a bedroom door to the outside. EXCELLENT floor plan! 7575 lbs DRY weight as delivered. Also heated bedroom mattress, and power awning and power tongue jack.

I'm pretty sure that you will like the floorplan; it appears to be quite similar to the floorplan in our 8285WS fifth wheel. As for the airbed, it works very well and is actually sleep-able now, a big change from the old standard hide-a-bed with built-in backache. The drawer under the sofa for storage is large with room for a LOT of stuff.

We had just about decided 100% to trade our 07 2601SS in on a 2010 2604SS until our dealer finally had the new 2604SS in stock on the lot so we could see it in real life. Well the lack of a kitchen pantry turned out to be a "deal-breaker" for us (Wife, especially !! ). Also the lack of a handy wardrobe-style closet a la the 2601SS was a disappointment as well. So, we ended up ordering an 8315BSS instead, and looking forward to delivery .

The lack of wardrobe/pantry didn't appeal to us either, but the private bedroom & floorplan made up for it. I guess we'll just have to adapt. By the way, dealer called Friday & said she expected my trailer on Monday. I can't wait to go & see it. It will be nice to see it before they get it prepped. Unfortunately I doubt Monday will happen, given the way things happen for me.

I agree with you Arn. Im not crazy about not having a panty but I love the seperate bedroom and big bathroom and having chairs in the living area instead of having to sit on a couch to watch t.v. Can't wait to pick it up. Should be next week.
What color interior did you get? We chose the Expresso with oaik cabinets.

We went with Sage & oak. Wife likes lighter colours so it isn't too dark inside. Of course Monday came & went so we'll see what Tuesday brings as far as the trailer making it to Ottawa.

We went with the Sage and Tuscan. We should be picking it up in October, I hope. We are not concerned with the lack of a pantry. There is only the wife and I and one idiot yorkie. We are not so much campers as travelers. We will be eating out at lunch and dinner most of the time.
