Does my Roo 23RS need "Stabilizers"????

Hi guys & gals...I own a 2012 Roo 23RS and we love the trailer, we have taken it to Florida (for 2 mths) from our home in New Brunswick, Canada for the last 2 is the perfect size & suits our needs great!! But my question is: Should we have stabilizer bars at the end of our Rear Bedroom Slide...the slide comes out appox. 6 feet. I know that most slides on the RV's, that I see around the different campgrounds, come out about 3 ft and don't have the bars...but this is 6'. I weigh 275 lbs & my sweetie weighs 138 lbs (please don't tell her that I told so that = 413 lbs just hanging out in mid-air, it freaks me out!!! There doesn't seem to be anything stopping it but the top edge of the slide!! I can't seem to be able to get/find any answers!! So if there is someone out there that can help ease my mind...I thank you!!
