Domestic toilet flush valve.

We have a 2014 8314BSS and the toilet randomly stopped flushing correctly. Just a small trickle of water would come out when flushed but water pressure was decent at sinks and shower. After doing a little research the toilet flush valve was suspected. We were going by the dealer for another minor fix anyway so I asked them to look at it. I was there when he pulled it off and there was sediment at the inlet screen of the toilet valve. I am just trying to figure out how the sediment got there. It was similar to the sediment that the hot water heater anode rod produces when it starts breaking down.

I removed the factory water filter canister last year and now use an inline water filter on the supply water hose which is obviously outside. I have never hooked up the hose without a filter on it. I suspect it may be coming from the inline water filter. Obviously, I will replace the inline filter before using again........

Anyone else experience this with a inline water filter?

Common issue.
More often then not it's construction debris in the water lines.

I agree with Turbs, it's most likely debris left in the lines when they installed them. Once you clean it all out, you probably won't have it happen again.

And if you do, its relatively easy to clean again.

Be on the lookout for sink aerators to be plugging as well.

Yup, I already suspected that I might have issues at the sinks also. I may just see if I can remove and flush them next week when we are in it again.

Always purge the supply faucet at a camp ground before hooking up. Also always connect the ends of your hose to prevent contaminates when storing them. Faucet strainers even stop up at home.
