dual sewer tank set up?

does any one use the prest o fit sewer hoses with a dual tank trailer? we bought a 2013 8310ss, and it has two sewer tank outlets. our old trailer had a single dump point.
i would like to keep the same hoses, but need a y fitting of some sort.

thanks
craig

My 2012 Rockwood has the dual valves, but they are within 15 inches of each other. I find it easier to use the same hose and forget about using a Y.

I agree. On my Rockwood the valves are about 10' apart. I position the camper in the middle, hook up the stinky slinky to one dump valve then move the hose the other. I only use the Y on rare trips where I have a sewer hook up.

I have a Prest-o-fit Y that I use occassionally, Usually when we have full hookup and are staying for a week or more. Otherwise, I just move a single hose when I need to dump tanks, since I never leave the valves open.

I bought a wye from Valterra from the local RV shop. But I'm sure that you can get them online. I mostly camp at sites with sewer hookups and almost always use it.

My typical setup is clear elbows at both outlets each to a hose that go to the wye and then to the 90-degree elbow for the sewer connection.

i bought the "Y" by Rhino and 2 RhinoFLEX 5' RV sewer hose extension kit
from Amazon. It works great. The "Y" is a cloudy white, but you can see a difference in color when dumping. I use a clear 45 in between the "Y" and sewer line.
