Dump valve/piping bracket

I was looking under the TT (2109S) and the bracket for the gray water tank dump piping, prior to where it Ys in with the discharge opening, has piece of metal that is not fastened. It looks like the purpose is to push the piping so that it all slopes down. It looks like just a spring pressure fit. I am thinking about drilling some holes into the frame member it is resting on and bolting into place.
Anyone else seen this? Common or did they forget to fasten it?

Hmmm, no responses....was this a lame question? I am also concerned about the sharp edges rubbing against the OSB flooring. Sorry I couldnt rotate the pic!

I would definitely anchor it. I made an alum U strap and bolted both sides to the frame.
