DVD/TV help

We have a 2012 Rockwood Signature ultraLite and as I was trying to find a place for things yesterday ( our first RV) i also found I could not get the DVD player to show on the TV. We have sound but no picture, only snow. TV comes on but is not showing picture with DVD. The TV offers only one Input option at this time & that is "cable/antenna"...any ideas for these very new "newbies?"

Is your antenna booster turned off? Check your connections to see if they are routed to the correct input on the back of the tv. Sometimes it looks like things are plugged in but in reality for whatever reason they might be loose. Do you have HDMI or the yellow/red/white connections running to the tv?

Is the TV and DVD player all in one or does the TV hookup to a built in like the genesis 2.0?

The genesis 3.0 has the dvd player in it. The Toshiba TV is separate. I put the dvd in and hear it, but no picture

The TV has to have a source button or something like that. I think it's A/V on mine. Try all the inputs till you see the picture with DVD playing.

The ant / cable selection you found is the wrong area. Like gserve said it is an input selection you need to make. Look for the words input on your remote. Just go through all the selections but a word of caution. You need to let each input stay on for several seconds before the picture might pop-up. If you go through all the different inputs too quick the TV might not get the chance to "lock in" before you move on.

The TV input has 1-5 but only 1 is active...it is Cable/Antenna. Perhaps I should find the reset button (if there is one) on the TV and try starting over there?

Well, lets verify the TV has other inputs. Look around on the back and the 2 sides and even the front. Do you see any jacks for sound and video? Maybe a HDMI port. Something that will let you know for sure it has other inputs. Other than the power cord and the coax cable that hooks to the antenna input how many other cords run to or from the TV?

I found that the tv had a password/PIN number still in from previous owners. Downloads the tv manual, changed the PIN number and we are watching DVD now. It does seem the remote for the Genesis is not functioning with new batteries...may need to see about another remote. Thank you for all the input.
