Electric Heater

I've been told that there is a company called RV Comfort Systems that makes a furnace adapter that fits on the gas furnace in Rockwood tent trailer that that converts it to an Electric furnace. Does anyone know if the factory is going to install them in there 2013 models?

Attached is Quote from there web site:

“The CheapHeat™ NT-DH19 Add-on Electric Heater, is designed work with the Suburban Direct Discharge Gas Furnace models NT-12, NT-16, or NT-20. These furnaces are commonly found in Tent Trailers and Pick-up Campers. The CheapHeat™ electric heater frame, fits between the grill and the mounting flange, onto the end of the direct discharge gas furnace, is unique in its manufacture because the heater controller is built inside the frame. This new self contained design simplifies the installation process, by eliminating the need for additional wiring, and controls external to the heater.”

I didn’t know they were making one for Tent Trailers but I do have one of their Add on CheapHeat Systems them installed in my 2004 5th wheel 38 ft Cedar Creek. I had it installed 2 years ago and have gone through 2 winters with it one in upstate Maryland and one in Northern Washington. We used in in weather as cold as -1 degrees in Maryland and it kept it nice and toast inside.
I wish the factory would start installing them at the manufacture level when they build them.

Thanks for the feed back, I'll be interested to here more about this Ductless system. My son just bought one and I think he would be interested.
