Fuse panel not labelled? That can be a PITA.

FWIW... our fuse is out permanently because I can manually crank the stabs down/up exponentially faster than the motors do. They are laboriously slow.

I have one question, our Windjammer has a battery disconnect, if you pulled the battery disconnect would that in effect cut power to those motors?

Yep, it should. Easy to confirm that - activate the battery disconnect and press one of the the stab switches.

Yes it will. I thought my battery had died when the camper was at the dealer for 3 weeks went to hook up, jack would not work checked the cut off, sure enough they had turn to off. Switch to on and away it goes. Later RJd

Fixed it. Turned out that the connection to the resettable breaker was loose. Both posts were quite rusty too. I couldn't even get a beep when I touched them with my meter. Cleaned them up and tightened down good and bingo - jacks are working again.

Any idea where to get the socket with the slots for manual cranking?

Thanks for the solution to the problem. Might try a camper place. Should have got one with the camper if it was purchased new. Later RJD

Hmmm. In the old days...a d/c motor was turned without village...it acted as a generator. This would then cause voltage to back feed to the control board....maybe this why.

No need to be snarky. I understand that a DC motor can be a generator. My question was around why I needed to disconnect if the switch was already disconnecting due to not being pressed. Kandl correctly pointed out that the switch could be malfunctioning and "on" thus disconnecting provides an extra measure of safety. That's the part I hadn't considered. Not that there can be a back feed.

Didn't sound snarky to me. Sounded like someone trying to help.

Amen...

Another helpful idea..maybe you are reversing polarity and it charging the ground..low amps can pop electronics.
