Electric jacks
Does anyone know how to get the electric stabilizer jacks to retract if they won't come up? Hasn't happened yet but would like to know in case it does.

Use the hand crank that came with your unit (hopefully)

That's the thing though I got two cranks, one for the slides and one for the tongue jack but nothing for the stabilizer jacks. I don't even see anywhere on the stabilizer jacks that you could crank them up.

Don't really think I received an instruction manual when we bought the trailer on how to operate the jacks other than just a very basic operation

If I remember correctly, the crank for the electric tongue also works for the stabilizer jacks.

Put it somewhere in the back of your mind, to remember to heed the warning in the Lippert brochure about disconnecting power before using the manual crank:
WARNING!
Always disconnect battery from system prior to manually operating system. Failure to disconnect battery can cause electricity to backfeed through the motor and cause serious damage to the system as well as void the warranty.

I didn't know that. Fortunately I have not had to do any manual cranking but will try to remember that.

The crank attaches on the opposite end from the motor. Don't have my TT here and only did it once so I don't remember the detail but there is a place there to attach the crank.

You might want to look at that again. The crank for the tongue jack is unique. It's a socket welded to the end of the crank. The crank for the stabilizers is typically dual purpose - manually actuate the stabilizers (with power disconnected) or manually crank the slide motor.

Don't do it this way!  Motor and Gearbox were broken off by a (Alligator)! Simply go to other side of unit and use the (Supplied?) Socket Crank!  Youroo!!

 Down here in Louisiana, we have plenty of both kinds of gators. I am taking it, that yours was of the rubber variety and black.

Help me understand this. If the switch is not being pressed while the jacks are being manually turned, is there really a need to disconnect the power? Isn't the switch effectively disconnecting the power anyway?
My rear jacks won't go down and I don't have the proper socket to manually extend them either. Heading out to get a VOM to troubleshoot.

Provided the switch is functional, it should effectively cut power to the jack. The caution assumes that you're cranking the jacks by hand because something is wrong with the motor/s or electrical. In that case, and without knowing what's wrong, you'd want to remove power. Too easy to pull the fuse at the converter - should be 20-amp.
