jimh ~ you are correct in the application differences of the various lubricants. y Sorry if I confused anyone. I just get a bit concerned when I think of people spraying WD40 on everything without thinking about the plastics involved. No need to worry on gel-cote/fiberglass.

I would like some of the clear plastic switch covers as well but I have not received my trailer yet as well.

Is there anyone out there that could check out the web site below and then measure their switch and let us know which size we should order?

f1100turbo has a site for small compartments. I just emailed them for a price of the singles. Think it would be better than the covers.

Thanks to f1100turbo, I found the compartments to house the entire switch. Requires cutting a hole and installing your own switch. $22.49 for a single. Amazon.com: JR Products V6D02-A White Replacement Hatch: Automotive
