Does anybody use one on their Rockwood? We are considering one for our 2605. What brand and weight capacity do you use if you do?

I installed the Ultra-Fab 3500 on my Rockwood 8315SS.

It's a very easy install, about 20 minutes or so.
3500 Lbs. of lifting power.

I also have an Ultra-Fab 3500 - on my 827FLS. Some of the best money I ever spent. Go for it!

Wouldn't be without it. I don't remember the name but it's a 3500 pound lift. Sure saves a lot of cranking. The 3500lb lift is the only one designed to lift the tt and the tv back end. Makes things faster and a lot easier

My smaller 2502 got an Ultra Fab 3000 installed (#15-0146). Has dual lights to assist at night.

It has no problem lifting the back end of my tow vehicle amost off the ground so the bars on the Equalizer hitch can simply swing into place.

$168 online from what I've found. I had the dealer install it, charged $213.99. If figured with shipping, I'd be close to that anyway. Worth every penny!

This spring I installed a 3000 lb jack on my 8318SS. Extremely easy to install, just be sure to scrape a little bit of paint between mating surfaces and use the grounding washer to ensure a good ground! The 3000 seems plenty strong. It will lift the camper and rear of my tow vehicle without overloading the motor or sounding like it is struggling. My only complaint is that it does not have as long of a "reach" as the factory hand crank jack. Not the end of the world though, just bring along some extra wood or lynx levelers to make up the difference.

To all with the 3500 lb jacks installed, do you know if they are a 2" or 2-1/4" diameter tube?
(was looking at a barker, and I think the 3500# model is a 2-1/4" tube)

Spent some time measuring my tongue, and it looks like a 2-1/4" will be a pretty tight fit.

I've got the Ultra-Fab 3500# and it fits 2” or 2 1/4” post.

My 2007 Rockwood Model 8293SS has the Hi-Power 2500 installed by the dealer. I believe he added another $200.00 to the price of the trailer for it.

According to the Forest River specifications the weight of my trailer is heavier than your model and I have had no problems with it.

I use the Atwood Deluxe 2,500 lb. Power Jack. The Atwood Jacks are permanently lubricated. It has a courtesy light and a hand crank handle that easily inserts into the front of the unit for manual override. I previously had a different brand in the past and when it decided to fail I had to take the shrowd off get out my socket set and manually crank it up and down during the rest of my vacation (what a pain). This is my second Atwood as I recently purchased a 2008 8317SS and would not go without one. --Rob

I've Used Ultra Fab And Also Atwood Both Worked Great . Only The Fuse Connector Is Cheep Recommend A Better One When You Install It. The Standard Spring Loaded Type Tend To Rot Out And Fail.
