Unhappy Electrical Challenge

Good Morning,

Our new unit is all hooked up at the site with one issue. All the wall outlets and one roof light in the back living area will not work. Thought it was the fuse, but that did not solve the issue.

The lights and outlets in other sections do work.

Any suggestions.

Check and reset all of your GFI outlets and circuit breakers. You should turn each breaker off and then on to make sure it is reset. Do the same for each of the GFI outlets you have. Sounds like one of them is tripped.
Good luck and let us know how you make out.

Tested the two GFI's and the reset perfectly. Turned breakers on an off with no luck....

Are you certain you found all the GFCI's? Not questioning your knowledge of your own trailer, but something similar happened to me a few years ago. It was a new-to-us TT and the manufacturer had placed another GFCI in a bathroom cabinet. It was hidden and turned out to be the one that I needed to reset (at the time).

If its not the GFCI's, or the breakers, or fuses, than that leaves you with either an internal wiring problem such as loose connector at each receptacle and the light or at the converter or a short somewhere between the converter and that part of the trailer.

Good luck.
