Excited!!

Headin out for our first trip with the new trailer today at supper time! Going for the long weekend, not too far from home this trip. Trailer is locked and loaded, so when we get home from work all we need to do is hook up and go

I know the feeling.....kinda like being a kid and waiting for Christmas morning. Hope the weather is good and the new trailer is flawless.

We had a fun weekend even though it was wet and cold. Can't wait for next weekend. The only issue we had with the trailer was we couldn't get the hot water heater to work on electric, but it works fine on propane.

did you turn the switch on the outside of the WH. it's accessed thru the outside hatch and is a little toggle switch. that's if you have a Suburban WH, which most FR products have. otherwise, if you did turn on the switch and there was no water in the WH, you probably burnt the electric element out.

We put water in the WH before turning on that switch... no luck.

it takes a lot longer for the electric to heat the water, than it does with propane heat.
some owners use both and then turn off the propane, once the water's heated, using the electric to maintain.

we left the electric on for over 4 or 5 hours and the water wasn't hot at all. Going to call the dealer tomorrow and see if we are missing a step somewheres or if the element is faulty.
