Anyone have a part number or a source for purchasing an exterior door frame. (I do not need the whole door assembly which seems to be pretty available at around $400) Ours was broken into last year and the black aluminum frame was pried out by the lock to gain entry. I finally got around to trying to straighten it and I am not pleased with the results since black paint chipped off. Looks like it would be fairly simple to remove frame and replace. The door itself was not damaged and is 100% operational.
FYI, they went to the trouble of breaking into around 20 RVs on our storage lot but took nothing out of ours. There were some smaller loose items that the could have taken.
Tried to post pictures but no success. Maybe when I get home.
Since I did not hear from anyone, I am going try this again.
Does anyone know of a contact person at Rockwood and/or Forest River that might help me with a replacement frame for our door. Just thinking that surely someone else has been broken into and had a door frame bent.
I just hate to have to go to a dealer and deal with the labor cost and down time.

from the picture it appears you aren't looking for the frame (part that attaches to the wall) but the outer trim piece on the door.
except for salvage I doubt it, I had a class A broken into with a hole through the door a number of years ago and they could not get any of the door parts and had to have a full assembly made. It was about 10 years old at the time which probably didn't help
From what I have seen unless you luck out in a salvage scenario that was suggested you're not going to find just the door itself New. They are made and sold as the complete assembly and their is no shortage of manufacturers. LCI, Dometic, Atwood, and quite a few others.
