Exterior Television

Rockwood Signature Ultra Light 8244WS 5th Wheel
Has anyone mounted an exterior TV permanently to the supplied bracket in the storage compartment? What is the maximum size TV which can be used?

Lots of questions here. Are you wanting to "pull it out and pivot it? You will need to review the opening area. Are you mounting a bracket permanently to the exterior surface of the RV? (size won't matter).

That's why I stated the exact 5th wheel I have. It comes with the exterior TV mount as standard equipment. It is mounted at the top of the pass-through storage compartment and swings the TV up when stored and down into the door opening for use. Of course it also includes the power and antenna hookups. I was hoping someone had already mounted a TV and could tell me the maximum size TV the bracket/opening configuration would accommodate.

I have learned that this mount uses either the Swift Mount VESA pattern swift100 or swift200. And, my dealer tells me, that in standard Forest River wisdom, they intend you use the almost impossible to move main living room TV rather than the more logical, easily moved bedroom TV. The mating bracket is on the living room TV only. If you want to use the bedroom TV you have to purchase an additional bracket. And guess what, you can't purchase the bracket alone - you have to purchase the entire assembly! Please - someone from Forest River tell me that's not correct!

Living Area Tv

Is it even possible to take off the built in TV from front room area? If so, how? Thank you.
