Our son who is a auto enthusiast (and hangs around with a bunch of car tuning gear heads told us that for @ $1,000 in parts and tunes he and his buds could take our EcoBoost and turn it into a 411HP / 438FP Torque EcoBEAST

I assume he's talking rear wheel measurements. Tune, intake, exhaust. Most of the gains come from the tune, though.

Yep! and you are right, the tune is the big improver - he told me a custom (warranty voiding unfortunately) tune could give you 80+ HP on a stock Ecoboost!

If you want to watch a video of Ecoboost capabilities search youtube for Ike Gauntlet 2.0, they test it against a chevy and Nissan towing 10000 lbs.

It wouldn't technically void your warranty- at least not the 3/36 bumper to bumper. For example, if your window motor went out, they couldn't deny warranty coverage because it was tuned. But I bet you could pretty much kiss the drivetrain warranty goodbye if they could prove it was tuned!!!

There is a rumor floating that the 3.5 EB will replace the 6 liter V8 for base engine on HD F series trucks. I talked to a Ford rep when test driving the 2015 F150 so who knows. I imagine it would not be hard to increase HP and torque with new Turbos and some tweaking

Truck is rated for a GCWR of 15,500 lbs with a 355 rear gears. Max tow of 9700 lbs.
Rockwood 8285IKWS has a GVWR OF 9250 lbs, which is pretty close to max of truck.
Will be installing air bags on our truck to aid in the suspension.

Will this work? Or will we be overloading the truck?
The real problem here is not the max tow of the truck, it is the max payload and the rear axle weight rating. The 8285IKWS has a "dry" hitch weight of 1187 lbs., but at that GVWR of 9250 lbs. the "wet" hitch weight will be ~20% x 9250 lbs. = 1850 lbs. If you add the actual weight of the 5th wheel hitch (~200 lbs.), the passengers (2 @ ~325 lbs.?), and any other gear carried in the truck cab or bed when towing (? lbs.), you will likely be around 2500 lbs. of "payload."

Does your truck have the heavy-duty payload package? What does the door sticker say is your "not to exceed" payload? What is the rear axle weight rating and will you exceed that?

FYI, air bags do not increase the rear axle weight rating--that is set by the truck manufacturer based on the rear suspension for that specific truck. Exceeding it will void the warranty.

PS: I ordered a 2015 F-150 Supercab Ecoboost 4x4 with the Max Tow and HD Payload packages on August 15, 2014, the first day 2015 pricing was available. Production was delayed three times, the last one on February 27, 2015. At that time the dealer told me my order would built in July and delivered in August 2015--ONE YEAR after I ordered it. I asked for my deposit back and bought a Ram 2500 4x4 Cummins turbodiesel that same week because I had already ordered my Rockwood 5th wheel.

Neither my Ford dealer nor I have not heard of any 2015 F-150 HD Payload trucks being built or delivered this year (and my dealer had 300 new F-150s on order or on his lot when I cancelled my order; he had Max Tow F-150s, but no HD Payloads). If any of you or anyone you know have actually received one, I would like to hear about it, because I think Ford can't meet the payload numbers on their Website, so are refusing to build any of them.

I have the Max Tow on my 2014 and Towing is 11,200 payload is 2450 MAX however with the crappy soft Pirelli's I wouldn't dare tow that much so I either replace mine or next June turn in my lease and buy a F350 Diesel Crew with 6 and 3/4 bed, but the price of the Ford and Dodge are above 60K although you can lease a Dodge not a Ford so not sure what to do. I only have a TT Roo 23IKSS
