fantastic fan screen cleaning

Hi, Have the fantastic fan in my new TT. I would like to clean the screen. I tried to remove it by pulling down on it at the place made for it. I could not get it off. Is there a trick to it? Looked like I was going to break it as I was pulling on it.

Yep, they can be a bear to remove without breaking off any of the tabs. Try using something to gently work it free around it's entire circumference. As it usually accumulates dust on the inside face I just vacuum it clean and don't remove the screen at all.

I take mine down frequently for cleaning and haven't broken anything. They seem pretty tough. For cleaning window screens I use a 3m lint roller on both sides.

If using a lint roller you have to use a 3m product. It doesn't leave a sticky residue that can attract more dust.

X2 you are gonna need a vaccum anyway - we got one that is a hand vaccum that mounts in a upright wand for larger area cleaning
