Fifth wheel king pin hitch

I have a problem with my frame for the king pin hitch I believe?? In the two picture of the problem on the 8258WS trim. I have tighten the trim several times, but they keep working loose. As you can see in the pictures
the caulking keeps separating from the trim. The door side of the Fifth wheel is worse. The trim moves down as much as a 1/4".

Has any one had the same problem? It is still under warranty, will be contacting Forest River about the problem tomorrow. Just got back off a two week trip to Charleston and Savanna when I noticed once again the trim has worked loose.

Looks like it could be a water leak. I had the same happen to me, but only one side. Had a small leak up near the roof and was tracking down the outside corner molding.

I caulked mine at the beginning of the season for the same reason.
Been dreading yanking the aero cap to take a peek.

I had this same issue with my last trailer (8261SS). Dealer tried to close the gap by putting screws up though the weatherstrip into the wall. Didnt work. Ended up taking it on trade for a new trailer last year. Now we have a 8281SS. unfortunately it seems to be doing the same thing! The gap closes when the weight is on the hitch. I have noticed that there is some creaking and groaning when taking the weight off the hitch. Don't know if this is normal as both trailers have done it.
