Well I finally did it. I finally found the RV that I think will best suit me and ordered it through RVW. It is a 8314SS. I wonder if they have ever sold an RV to someone in Iraq??? Now I am sure that it is going to be a long 10-12 weeks and make my time go by extremely slow over here. At least I will have something to look forward too when I get home. I just hope that my truck will pull it or someone will be getting a heck of a deal on a new camper. Thanks to everyone that replied to my numerous posts and questions. Dont worry I am sure that I will have more to come. Hopefully when I get back I will be able to chime in with something. Happy Holidays to all and hope to see some of you camping this summer.

Congratulations on the new rig. I know you will enjoy it once you return. We have been looking at this same model for a while now but still can't justify trading in the 26RKS. We also would be pushing our tow vehicle limit with it so we will just keep wishing.

Again, thank you also for your service to our country.

Personally I think your tow vehicle should do just fine. It's not a race and keeping speed max to 60 you should do great. Just get Equalizer or Reese dual cam hitch setup

taking forever

Its only been two weeks since I ordered my TT and it feels like it has been forever. Im not a very patient person, and I can deal with being over here in Iraq, but damn, I just cant wait for the email saying the TT in ready for pick-up. I just hope that I am not still over here. Hope everyone has had a safe and happy holiday!!! I decided to brighten all the handlers day so I dressed up for them. I am the one in the middle with the Black and Tan Shepard!!

dogman, happy holidays to you and be safe. Just to let you know I have an8314, but mine is a 2006 bought new and by the way I will be towing with the same make and color truck as you have posted. It's a 2008 heavy 1/2 ton that I bought in September. I have only 1,400 miles on at this time. Good luck to you and hope you hear soon on your tt order, and thanks for being there for the U.S.

Dogman, I'm right behind, but at least you've ordered yours. I probably won't commit until the end of the month.

Congrats Dogman--We will be looking for you on the RV road. 40 years ago this month I ordered a sports car while in country in Viet Nam so I know what you mean when you say that you are impatiently looking forward to personally picking up your RV.

I am proud of your folks.
