Finally, A Rockwood 2604S

After nearly a year of fussin', cussin', and discussin', I found a dealer that was able to locate a Rockwood Ultra Lite 2604S. I placed the order on Tuesday and will pick it up in Georgia the weekend of 14 Mar. After searching for so long, I don't think another 2 weeks will hurt me, it will just feel like it. I'm planning to use a near-by State Park for the shakedown trip. I will post pics ASAP.

Where are you picking up the trailer? We are planning to be in a GA state park for a weekend out. Where were you planning on going?

BTW - I was a sub-contractor at Lockheed when your Hercules was being built - small world, ain't it?

I will be picking it up at McDonough RV and planning to go to either Indian Springs or High Falls. I read some reviews about High Falls that were very complimentary about the setting, the camp hosts, and the park in general, but the reviewers were bothered by all the ants at the sites. Do you have a preference between the two?

We have a 2604 and love it. It is a 2009 model we got last May (2008). It is very nice and we really enjoy the big rear window feature. Also, the separate shower area. Haven't had any serious problems at all. Live in Texas but plan to visit High Falls St Park in Georgia the first week of May. Let me know how you like it.
