First Big Trip!

Got the Windjammer packed up and hitched up to leave first thing tomorrow. Leaving Indy, hitting the IndyCar race in Milwaukee on Saturday, Door County for a couple days and then the U.P. for a week. First long trip as we've only done weekends up to this point. Did figure out a solution for bikes, but only if TV is an SUV, got a Yakima rack that mounts on the lift gate. Looking forward to a great loop around Lake Michigan!

I've only been there on sled myself.

Not so far northwest this trip...hugging Lake Michigan from Green Bay to Pictured Rocks west of Grand Marais.

Sounds like a great trip. Would love to see pics from the UP, as we have that one is on our "to do" list.

Are you then crossing the bridge and taking in the Michigan west coast? There are some nice stops there. Enjoy!

Yes, crossing the Mighty Mac and then heading toward Traverse City and south from there.

Here's a link to the CG's we're going to try and stay at. They're first come, first served so hopefully we'll get lucky.

great pictures - were headed that way in August. Munising Tourist Park, Tahquamenon Falls SP and Wilderness SP. can't wait to check it out.
