First trip

First trip out with the new Rockwood model 8329 pulled with F 150 with 3.5 Eco pulled great 8.5 on mpg avg speed 65. Ben reading all post have not seen any one say anything about all rocking and bouncing that happens when U walk in side the house what have U all done too remedy this.

First off, slow down. 65mph is a max speed for the tires so keep it in the 55-60 mph range for safety. Exceeding the max speed rating of the tires is inviting a chance for a blowout and they aren't pretty. As far as the bouncing around in the trailer, I assume you have the stabilizers on the ground. You are still on the springs of the trailer so movement will always be there unless you put stabilizers under the frame near the axles. The only way to totally stop the movement is to lift the wheels off of the ground which isn't practical.

Congratulations, That's a nice unit. I think we are all still guessing as to what works. We are looking to adding the stackable adjustable stands.

I have a couple of small 6 ton bottle jacks. Put them on the frame in front if the axles on one side and behind the axles on the other. You'll have to stack blocks under them. Jack up the trailer about an inch or so. That takes all the bounce out of the springs and tires. Stackable screw jacks would probably work too.
