First trip out 2503s

Well 3 days camped in the new TT and it has to go back to the dealer for a few adjustments, just minor things.
Over all we really like this trailer and it tows great
We love the Murphy bed and the big bathroom. [ not much we don't like ]
1. microwave door doesn't shut right
2. Bathroom door needs adjustment
3. Shower needs to be caulked around the bottom
4. the 2 doors under the sink touch at the top, again need adjusting
The one thing that really bugs me though is the TV won't play through the stereo speakers and the TV has very little volume on its own
Dealer is going to check this out also.

Once the little stuff is taken care of the trailer sounds like it will be a good addition to the family. How is the microwave door not closing properly? I had a problem with my microwave and had to learn to close it differently.

Feel free to post some pictures.

I was pushing on the lower part of the door instead of the middle and with being short I couldn't tell it wasn't completely closed until the service tech showed me.

It is going to be a nice addition.
The microwave door has to be slammed in order to get it to close[ not really slammed but close firmly]
I can live with all the small adjustments except the tv/stereo. I think it should play through the stereo speakers. Does anyone elses play just through the TV ?
With the Murphy bed its like having two floor plans in one
Here are a few pictures of it still sitting at the dealer ..

You need an audio cable connected to tv and either to the aux in on front of unit or as we did removed deck and connected to aux in in the back. TV sound is much better through the trailer speakers

Well just back from the dealer today and all items fixed except the microwave, they ordered a new one to replace it
So new microwave should be here by the end of the week and replaced.
Off now to find the cord needed to hook the tv to the stereo.

Tugger, we had the same sound problem in our 2109S. We took the cable that was provided; it has one male end that goes to the output port in the back of the TV and the other end was 2 wires, both female, that would not connect to the left and right speaker ports because the speaker ports are also female. So we took our cable back to the service dept at our dealer and they gave us what they called an RCA cable. Both ends are male (double at each end) that plug into the cable provided and then into the speaker ports.

Hope this helps!!! Enjoy your 2503S!! and Many Happy Journeys!!

NanaKaren did you have to remove the stereo from the wall to plug those in?

No. Our sound problem was with the TV, so that's where the wires plug in to. Stereo works great! The TV sound was very low and increasing the volume to is max did not give us the sound level we wanted. The only time we had surround sound on the TV was with one DVD. The other DVDs we had with us were not produced with surround sound.
