?? bottom of freestanding table? It has to be on the bottom of something or inside something...it's too ugly to be in the open somewhere. Your RV is compact... can't be that many places.

Mystery solved. Just got home and it does belong to the table.

It looks like a rubber bumper. It may have mounted in a hole in a frame, with another nut that went on the top for adjustment and locking.
