Freak Accident
Set up at Toledo bend (Cypress Bend RV Park) for some much needed rest and relaxation after 4 days in the Guadalupe mountains hiking and tent camping.
Sitting outside with a can of lemonade and Wham!!!
Camper shook, crashing sound, front jacks knocked off blocks. .
Ran around back and found this.

Turns out some lady had parked it up the hill about 150 feet away and left it. Rolled in the main slide out. Bust fiberglass and wooden wall. Knocked slide out of alignment by 2-3". Bent slide rail. Knocked front landing gear off blocks and shifted front end over 6-8". Knocked doors open inside. Draws out. TV mount is loose. Fireplace surround on floor. Microwave turntable out on floor. And more. I neeeeed some rest.

The most important question, is Zoe OK. You're being punished for not getting your reservation in soon enough for Goshen. Glad you weren't hurt, maybe you'll end up with a 2017 model.

Guadalupe Mtns.... and now Toledo Bend... You covered some ground. Both great places. Far West Texas is my favorite part of the state. Sucks that you have this kind of thing. I sure hope her insurance is good... or she has lots of cash...

Finally got an adjuster to go to the dealer where my Rockwood has been sitting for 2 weeks. 5-6 promised dates to do estimates and all no-shows. National General Insurance Company!!!
Anyway, with the cost of my deductible ($125) the total damage is $9996.82. Unless they find more while doing the reapirs.
And now we wait for the new slide, new wall, new decals, new landing gear and whatever else. May not get any fall trips this year. Had Canton planned for Oct. Oh well. More time for deer season.

Hope all goes well with the repairs. At least you're in a part of the country where you can camp year-round. You shouldn't be out any money for your deductible, but it sounds like the golf cart lady didn't have any insurance.
We are heading to Hershey on Tuesday for 3 days of camping, and plan to be at the park on Wednesday to look at fifth wheels and motor homes. Not going to take our title with us, but if something happens I can always mail it to the dealer.
