fresh water drain

The fresh water drain on my unit (2502S) is the same as the low point drains. There is a black cap to unscrew to drain it. It is located on the middle of the tank between the axles. It is a pain to crawl under there and remove the cap. Has anybody done a mod on this? Any idea's? Looking to install some kind of valve on this too.

Yes, The only differance is this fitting is screwed into the tank and has the same male threads and cap as the low point drains. Low point drain fittings are crimmped to pex pipes.

My Fresh Water Drain has a valve on it. My Low point drains were capped until I added the mod to attach valves last night.

Mine was capped just like the low point drains. Put a hose bib on it. Makes draining quicker and allows me to direct the draining water away from my parking space next to the house.
