Front electric jack question

Tell me if I'm overthinking.

I'm new at this. Had someone help me to move and set up my 2175vs travel trailer.

The front jack has four holes in the bottom and a removable pin I'm guessing that is designed to reduce the travel the jack must work in.

When we parked it, we had that pin in the uppermost hole (reducing the travel of the jack to the ground). Is that pin safe to have in that hole parked? Or should we have retracted that pin and fully extended the jack. I'd hate to mess with it. We are full timing for now, but I've just been thinking of that pin failed might be bad. Then I was thinking that piece of steel must have been designed to take that weight.

Overthinking?

Dont worry about the (Shear Strength) of the Pin! If you need to Worry think about the (Plastic or Pot Metal Gears) inside the Gear Box! Youroo!!
