Furnace issue with new 2008 Rockwood 8318

Hi,

We are having an issue with our furnace comming back on, We set it to the desired temperature and it shuts off after reaching the set temperature, but it dosn't want to come back on again as the trailer cools down. On our first trip out we had this proplem, but after playing with the thermostat for a couple of days, eg: off & on high & low, etc.... it works, but it seems to be having the issue again now that we have it home packing up to get ready for our 2nd. trip out in it.

Any idea's why this could be happening? This is a brand new trailer.

There is an adjustment in the stat that is called a " heat anticipator " this will allow the heat to come on more often, yours may be set to the max. It's known as the temp swing. A digital stat has a 2 degree temp swing, meaning the temp will drop 2 degrees of set point before the heat comes on or in the A/C mode the temp will increase 2 degrees before the A/C comes on. The " anticipator " is for heat only, no effect on A/C. You will need a manul for your stat to do this if you don't have one then go on line or your dealer.
