Furnace Question on 2906WS

Have new 2906ws. I have 4 floor vents in the trailer, also under the sink their are 2 large grills 30 in by 17in. When the furnace runs, get very little air from floor vents, a lot of heat from the big grill under sink. Has anyone experienced this or have suggestions. Thanks.

I would take large grill out and check that furnace cover is installed properly, normally the large grill is the cold air return.....

You've got a similar floor plan to what I just ordered. More than likely the same furnace setup. You shouldn't be getting anything from under the sink. Pretty sure you'll find something disconnected...ducting came loose or something. Should be easy to fix.

Fixed

After opening the panel under sink I found the metal door open on end of furnace, allowing the heated air out the return under sink. Closed door, put the screw back in, now works well. Thanks for all replies

We had the same issue. When dealer was working on other warranty items, he re-taped the ducts, and corrected a minor gas leak. When we get Steinbaum back, we'll look under the sink to be sure this isn't an issue, too.

That's exactly the same issue I had (two's coincidence, three's a trend) - the screw holding the end on the plenum backed out and the spring-steel 'nut' fell off. Didn't find the 'nut' until after I had screwed the cover onto the plenum side with a self-tapping screw (it'll never come off again) but I also found one of the duct bayonet fittings was almost falling out and also took the opportunity to seal a lot of other leaky joints with Reflectix tape (the real duct tape).
