Anyone have one they dont use??
Sometimes it takes a little to attach, but when it does it wont let go...dont have display in it and just mount base to windshield first. Its easier

I have heard of these being used. They are called scrunchies, I think. Hippies use them too.

My front windshield is so far away it wouldn't do any good to attach there. I don't even know if I can reach it. I have a 7" screen and it just sits on the console on the floor, cause I haven't come up with anything I'm too pleased with yet. Don't have a clue what I did with my suction cup.

I bought this from Amazon...the suction cup attaches perfectly to this...set it on the dashboard and off we go. It never moves.

I use these gear ties to attach the monitor to my rear view mirror. Can't use the mirror when pulling the camper.

I still use my rear view mirror when towing. On a previous trailer I noticed it wasn't level in the mirror. Turns out we broke a leaf spring.

Great idea. Can just unplug and put in glove box until I need it.

Furrion Observation Camera use while driving down the road
Ram mount X-Grip. Once you have it you will never use the flimsy piece of stuff that came with the camera monitor again. It even holds my nav on my boat. And the water gets rough?

Better than ‘spit’:
Glycerin or KY
To avoid having the monitor power cord hanging in the way:
Try a ‘mirror tap’ (gets 12 volt power from your mirror)
To avoid hard-to-see-image issues:
Keep monitor up high enough so that the sun cannot shine on it
I like the ‘Scrunchie over the rear view mirror’ idea. I need to easily remove my monitor when disconnected from the trailer.
Thanks
Rennie

I just stuck mine to the window so it overlaps my trucks backup camera which is in the rear view mirror on the left side. It worked pretty good. I adjusted it so I could see just a bit above my spare tire and can see a few car lengths behind me to change lanes. First time I used it was yesterday while driving from ohio to north carolina. I can honestly say I am well pleased with the money spent to have a rear view mirror while towing.
Quick question, we have not towed at night yet... it does have night vision? It was installed by the dealer so don't know if it has night vision or not? Thanks!
James

Just purchased the observation camera, should be at my house Wednesday. Are they still wired in a way that requires you to have your lights on for the camera to turn on?
