By no good, do you mean sound quality or the way the system operates?

Jaz - Does your documentation say you have an iRV33? Most new Rockwoods seem to come with an iRV32 (that's what I have). This radio has a continuous power output of 50 watts, driving 3 zones plus a subwoofer (if applicable). In my 2706WS, I have a 40W rated passive subwoofer. Now, depending on how they designed the radio, my guess is the output power is probably split 10W for each of the three zones (5W per channel) and 20W for the subwoofer. Hopefully, it can bridge amps so that, if you are using zone 1 only, you get full output (30W) plus the sub. There's very little tech information on these crappy radios, so who knows?
The passive 2-channel soundbar is rated at 10W per channel. Cheap.

So, if you could find another soundbar that would fit, would it work with only about 10 watts to drive it? If your Vizio soundbar is passive and has a 4-ohm input impedance, you could try it and see if you get adequate sound without distortion. If the replacement was an active soundbar (with its built-in amp), then you would have no problem.

Ken

thanks ken, also in the 2304ks there are only 2 zones because the sound bar is the only sound inside and zone 2 is outside speakers. I'll experiment and see what happens.

I have a 2304DS with an IRV35 system and Furrion soundbar. I tried replacing it with an Amazon Basics powered soundbar without success. I took the speaker wires for the left and right channel and spliced them into a dongle that turned each channel into an RCA connection but couldn't get the soundbar to work. I also tried hooking up the optical and RCA direct connections on the back of the stereo (independently) and still nothing so I gave up and put the Furrion back in.
