Ga trip

My DH and I had a great trip to the mountains with no problems with the TT. This was the first extended trip we've made with our new camper. Had no problems towing. The only issue we had it these two pipes under the camper would leak now and then. We are not sure what they are.

They look like your lowest point drain pipes...You can probably tighten them as needed. Seeing as to how you are from FL, you might not need to drain your water system for winterization.

Thanks for the reply, I do believe they are low drain pipes.

North Georgia mountains

Timex, we had a great time in the mountains. We stayed at Enota Resort and Campground in Hiawassee on a beautiful flowing stream. We did some hiking, went for several drives through the mountains and little towns. Visited Ellijay's apple fest. Went to Franklin, NC for an afternoon. Had plans to play some golf, but the weather took a nose dive.

I live just below the mountain line in Georgia and we visit the mtns. quite often camping. Next week we are going to Bryn Mawr in St. Augustine for 6 nites. Have you ever been there and if so how is it?
We have a 2011 Solera which is a 25 ft motorhome on Freightliner chassis by FR.

The 2 hoses ARE lowest drain point pipes , used for draining to winterize and to drain your fresh water tank when you wish to replace the old with new fresher water. If they are leaking get DH to put down the beer and go tighten them. LOL

Slow_Movin we've been there numerous times. The last time was a couple of years ago, unfortunately it was a little run down. It is a great location though being right on the Ocean. Hope you have a great trip and let us know how it is now.

I was just there in July (2nd time there). Like rossandjan said it's starting to show some age. The sites are very small and a lot of the CG is Park models or permanent campers. Each site is individually owned so you might see one with a very nice deck and cover, but the one next to it could have 2 4X4's and a few 1 X 6's as cover with no picnic table. The pool is really nice and you have really good access to the beach. It will be a little cold to get in the water while you're there though. If I had to do it over I would try to get into the Anastasia State Park. It's a little closer to St. Augustine and gets very good reviews.
