So jus wondering how do u watch a dvd outside using genesis an connect tv? The outside plug is coax for tv. would that not be jus for antenna reception?
I've never been able to use DVD for any TV except living room. I just bought a bedroom TV with DVD built in. And thats the tv i take outside. If you figure this out, please report details here.
Yeah, don't understand why they give you the option to use the TV outside and don't provide the audio and Video cables to use outside. I use the outside grill table to put the DVD player on and hookup to the TV. Also only standard definition DVD hookup on back of the Genesis 2.0.
i use an extension rca video cable and audio cable and run it through the kitchen window. this allows me to watch dvds and get audio through the outside speakers.
Yes the extension cable has got to be the simple fix. Do you pop the screen out of the window frame just enough to get cable run out? I can't seem to get my screens to come out for a simple window cleaning. Looks like im going to break them so I give up before I done some damage but I could get enough room for a cable to go out.
If your trailer is like a lot of the minilites (and others for that matter) you have a gas fitting/hose on that side of the camper for the grill. I can run the video and audio cable through that opening. It leads under the dinette seat which is right below the inside TV. Works great.

1 pop the kitchen screen out enough to get the cable through. One they a through you can put back and roll the window in till it is almost closed..
