Geo Pro 19FBS Awning help

Okay. Geo Pro 19FBS with electric awning. I was told you can adjust one side to make it lower if needed. I cannot figure it out. There is a knob on each side, where the screw sits in a slotted piece. It is obvious to me that is what needs to slide but i cannot get it to slide and would rather ask then force it. Ideas? Thanks. No pics at the moment.

Loosen knob. Pull down on the awning on that side. Tighten the knob.

Glad you figured it out. Now - you have to hope it will stay there. Mine seems to slip and an hour later, it's back up.

Thumbs up

Thank you for posting the photo. I have the exact same trailer (even year and model) and got tired of trying to get help (even the dealership was stumped). I will try it when I get home from work.

i believe with the screw knob loose, you then pull down on the end of the awning that you want lower... hold it there then tighten the knob... the slotted section will push in closer to the camper... not pull down on the elbow as you show in the picture

You are right in that the slotted section will push in closer to the camper. I should have been clearer. The part i have circled in yellow is what i pulled on toward the camper after the knob was loose, which allowed the slotted part to slide in towards the camper and then you tighten the knob. Thanks again to all.
