Geo Pro 19FBS Awning help
Okay. Geo Pro 19FBS with electric awning. I was told you can adjust one side to make it lower if needed. I cannot figure it out. There is a knob on each side, where the screw sits in a slotted piece. It is obvious to me that is what needs to slide but i cannot get it to slide and would rather ask then force it. Ideas? Thanks. No pics at the moment.

Loosen knob. Pull down on the awning on that side. Tighten the knob.

Glad you figured it out. Now - you have to hope it will stay there. Mine seems to slip and an hour later, it's back up.

Thank you for posting the photo. I have the exact same trailer (even year and model) and got tired of trying to get help (even the dealership was stumped). I will try it when I get home from work.

i believe with the screw knob loose, you then pull down on the end of the awning that you want lower... hold it there then tighten the knob... the slotted section will push in closer to the camper... not pull down on the elbow as you show in the picture

You are right in that the slotted section will push in closer to the camper. I should have been clearer. The part i have circled in yellow is what i pulled on toward the camper after the knob was loose, which allowed the slotted part to slide in towards the camper and then you tighten the knob. Thanks again to all.

Geo Pro awning arm slipping
As rockfordroo pointed out, I'm having issues with the awning popping back up not long after lowering it and locking one or both of the arms using the black know. Has anyone come up with a solution to make theirs stay up? I'm considering a pair of multi grips to strong arm the knob, but really don't want to do that in case I break it...
Should have mentioned, mine is a Geo Pro 19QB.

Retracting the awning
So, I just drove my new GeoPro 19FBS home and extended the awning. Am I supposed to loosen the knob on each side before retracting the awning? Makes sense to do that, but wanted to check first. Thanks for the tips on lowering one side. Will give that a try. (Yes, I am a newbie. I'm really loving my GeoPro! All the neighbors are drooling over it).

Mine slips too after a little while. I usually only dip it down and lock it with a knob so I can reach the roller to slip in my little lantern holders in the slit on the roller.
NOTE: if you do use those slip in lantern holders for electric light string, remove them before you roll up awning for any appreciable length of time unless you want ugly indentations in the material. The instructions for mine say you can close awning with the hangers in place, but you will get indentations.
