Geo Pro Off Road Package

Does anyone know the difference between a standard Geo Pro and one with the off road package? Is it something that could be added later? Thanks

I spoke with Anthony at Forest River. He stated that the off road package has 3 5/8 more clearance than a standard unit. They have a 2 5/8 lift and of course the 15 in. tire rather than 14. You can add the Dura Flex lift kit and there is a good video on YouTube on how to install it.

I did the lift kit myself after realizing how low my 19FD sat without it. Kept the 14" wheels tho. The extra 2 5/8" lift helps with dump plumbing clearance.

Ya, that's what I was looking at. Anthony did tell me that he had not heard of anyone having issues with this.

tires are definitely more aggressive. and if you use the included camp stove it will not work on the plumbed LP line on the trailer which makes the stove sort of useless because I really do not want to carry around disposable 1 lb bottles for the cost of the trailer itself over a year lol.

I'm not sure of the worth of the 'aggressive' tires as they don't have any power to them for traction, but they look cool. The lift is worthwhile. When boondocking in RSA the 10 ply street tread had fewer flats than the traction tire configuration which seemed to pick up more thorns and stickers causing flats.

I have a GP 19QB with the offroad package and I use the plumbed LP line with the camp stove all the time. Just had to buy a hose at the local RV store with the correct ends on it.
