This was hard to find. It is called a straight blade inlet and there does appear to be threads to lock it in place.

So you need a straight blade 30amp cord and this one has a threaded ring and it is angled which is cool....

https://www.amazon.com/Conntek-Cruis.../dp/B00KC108PE

Or go with something standard and replace it all haha

Edit: can't guarantee the threads will line up nor this will even fit... Appears to actually be common but completely foreign to me...

I have reached out to my production team on this and we do understand what you are saying and we still use the same plug that you are talking about on the 50 Amp service units. We have not experienced any issues here with this style of plug or heard of any issues with it other than someone plugging it in and not securing it with the screw on ring that is on the cord. We have seen where people have just plugged them in and not screwed them tight and someone walks by and pumps it just barley to where it will come out just enough to make it arch. We do understand your concerns but if the cord is installed properly by inserting the plug and attaching the ring on the cord to the plug in you should not have any issues with this. I hope that helps and if you have any further questions please feel free to reach out.

I'd still like to know why the selling dealer didn't overnight the OP the shore power cord?

agree 5 picker. that is incredibly negligent and crappy PDI. Wow, I can't believe they have built in TPMS now! That is cool, I spend a couple hundred for an aftermarket TST or whatever it is for my '19 model.

nobody spell checks anymore. Thanks to texting and phone interface, it has become acceptable to butcher the english language. Just look at any news article these days. Pitiful. But nice of his contact to get back to him on the subject at least.

Yes they now include the TST device and have the repeater hardwired into the junction box under where the pigtail connects to the trailer.

It's probably the same one you bought.

!@$#^% I hate when they add good stuff right after you buy it!!! I don't even have the repeater installed and it still works flawlessly. At least I have a color monitor! Don't tell me the monitor is color too.....

They already improved the 12SRK again.
Adding a window AC you you can keep both AC and fan.
adding a lot of storage on the wall.

I have none of those. mine is built a just a few month ago.

LOL we bought the first gen 19 two weeks before Haylett got the second edition 19 in stock. So no ladder, inverter, windshield, tv, paid for the solar option standard on the second edition.

They come with blackstone-esc griddles now instead of the Coleman grills. :O

Blackstone too??? arghhhhh! That Coleman grill it came with is the biggest POS grill I've ever owned. I ended up buying the Pitmaster brand but same grill as the stainless steel Cuisinart table top 2 burner grill. I use a Lodge cast iron griddle on the grill or coleman stove.

This statement clearly shows that the rep is clueless:

"we still use the same plug that you are talking about on the 50 Amp service units."

The OP's trailer is 30 AMP, NOT 50 AMP!
50 amp connectors are 4 prong and have a different configuration than 30 amp.

I'm not the op but did receive that email. I specifically mentioned my furrion L twist lock plug, the rep means they still use twist lock plugs on trailers with 50amp service but switched to this straight blade style on the 30amp.

That's what I thought when I read the email, that they are still using the Furrion style plug for the 50 amp units.

I think what you have, after a little quick research, is a "30-15-RV-A" plug. That's based on this link to a Camco page:

No, I already posted what the OP has on page 5 I think. The adapter you posted converts a 30amp RV outlet to 15amp standard house hold. I don't even know why that exists lol

I’m the OP
I received the original cable from dealer, and it is this one:
https://www.conntek.com/products.asp?id=924
Same as pointed out by MichaelE

On the manufacture page, it says:
Utilizing Conntek Straight Blade Inlet System creates a more secure electrical connection that is less prone to arcing.
Our Design uses standard RV 30A Power Cord with upgraded features that are easier on both the user and RV.
This system is quickly being adopted by RV manufactures as #1 OEM choice to power their motor home

I guess we will see it more often in the future.

So is this a knock-off competitor to a SmartPlug?
