Glue marks on wallpaper

Hi,

I am looking at a 2008 model #8318ss and above and along the slide there are marks on the wall. The salesman states it was a re-action from the glue on the and the wallpaper for this model and not a water leak. The wall behind is hard as a rock not soft and it does seem like the glue is bunched up under the paper. Short of tearing off a piece - has anyone else encountered this?
Not sure of picture came out I have it attached.

Thanks.

Hello, and to the forums. Hope you enjoy the stay, and learn a lot, and can teach others what you already know.

Hate to say it, but looks like water damage/delamination has started. Check the roof for nay signs of new caulk. I think the dealer is trying to hide something. Since it is used, it will have NO WARRANTY!!!!! Make then give you a two year warranty on leaks. Better yet, walk away.

First of all welcome to the forums. I hope we can help you.

I really would get a second opinion about this (if you are set on this camper) as I agree it looks like delamination. I suppose the dealer has seen this before and so knows for a fact glue is the cause, but how can he be sure without having cut into one of the blisters to confirm there is not a water problem?

Water is a funny thing. Besides the wall right behind this, did you get up onto the roof and check that the seals are good and there are no spongy areas?

I would not risk buying this trailer. You really don't want the headache.
