Croaker, Did you have any discoloration or "ghosting" from the decals? I have a few chips in my front decals already and would love to take them off, but worry that I might have an outline left behind.

If you're asking me I haven't started this project. I'm not to concerned with the ghosting so much because I am going to put the same design graphics back on. I watched videos on the removal and there is a pretty extensive process to take the ghosting out and pretty much you will always have ghosting after removal.

The newer your rig is, the less ghosting you will have, and the easier it will be to remove with a good deoxidizer. I have found even on older rigs I can remove most ghosting on sides and rear. If you can see it at all, you have to look really close. I haven't been so successful on colored front caps though.

Another option is to add led lights in the crease areas of the cap..
