Same location for ours and we use it often.

Must admit sometimes I wonder regarding the heat on the fiberglass siding but, have noticed no issues.

For us two, seems to be a perfect BBQ.

Use mine all the time, it sets 11in from the side, gets warm but no warmer than a hot day.

We set ours up as soon as we get to the campsite and it stays there the whole time. We use it once or twice a day and have never had any problems. Ours has legs to use to stand it up on a table and I have used it that way a couple times if I am cooking something that is greasy such as bacon or if I'm cooking something that is going to cause a lot of smoke.
