Well I have not because I chose not to use. I'm a safety freak and I see lots of issues down the road with folks using. To me it's an accident looking to happen as there is bound to be someone out there to abuse the system. Later RJD

Mine has the swing arm attached to the rear bumper/stinky-slinky holder. The grill swings out away from the trailer so it isn't anywhere near the side. I get the willys thinking about a grill in direct contact with the outside wall.

Never heard of anyone having a problem, only those folks that don't use them and cry wolf. We've used one on 2 trailers for 3-4 months a year for the last 7+ years with the awning out and no signs of anything amiss.

10 years of using my grill attached to the side of my camper.
Not one issue.
This poor grill has lasted through 2 campers and headed to the third Saturday.

Never had a problem. Been doing it for 10 years. Easy set and take down. Under awning so can grill when it's raining.

Been using ours since 2011 no issues, other then; depending on, how I have to level the trailer, on some sites my 5 foot wife thinks its to high ...lol, so I bought her a small stool!

Four years doing it with mine. The grill mount keeps it a few inches away from the side, and the side gets warm to the touch but never hot.

Never a problem in my use on the side of the trailer under the awning no less. I suggest greasy products, like frozen burgers or cheap sausage not be grilled.

Our 2604WS also came with a table that mounts next to the grill.
Here it is.
I have a grill on my pop up, too. Never had any problem except a grease smudge or two.

Why not use a free stand'n table w/fold-up or removable legs? Or bend up a 'grease' shield. That 'track' on the side makes a handy spot to mount outside tv on a swivel'n arm, shelf for coffee pot and ......

My old Shamrock 183 had the rail mounted to the side under the awning. Was grilling burgers one night standing about 5 feet away and watched the rail start to pull completely away from the camper. Fortunately my fire pit gloves were handy so I could grab hold of the hot grill before it came completely off. I was later able to repair the rail, but never completely trusted it after that.
The grill had, besides the horizontal tubes that the assembly rails slide through, vertical tubes that the rails could be inserted in that allowed the grill to sit on a table and that's the way I used it from then on..
New camper has the swing out from the rear bumper.

Do you think someone on the forum had an issue with one and didn't post it? You have got to be joking!
People gripe on this forum if they have dirt on their tires.

We use ours practically every day for the 3+ months we're in FL and have for the last 3 years. Is that enough?
BTW, the one that came with the camper finally just burned the grate out and now we have another one that's about a year old and a new one stored at home in the garage. Love them!
